National Service Pre-enlistee

At Curtin Singapore, we understand the importance of balancing academic pursuits with national responsibilities.

Under the Enlistment Act, all male Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, unless exempted, are required to serve in National Service (NS).

Students eligible to serve NS are advised to apply for deferment from the Central Manpower Base (CMPB) before enrolling in any courses offered at Curtin Singapore. We encourage all eligible students to seek clarifications with CMPB to secure their National Service deferment, allowing you to focus on your education.
